Father God, fill me with the knowledge of Your Perfect will for my life … through all Spiritual (Word) wisdom and understanding … so that I will live a life worthy of You and please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that I may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified me to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
I Colossians 1:9-12
This Scripture is a prayer by Paul for the Colossians. This is rewritten as a model for a personal prayer that is not heard in churches these days. And it’s a shame because this is the prayer that God wants to answer to those that want to know what His Perfect Will is.
Since we know that God answers prayer, what spiritual wisdom must I first be filled with?
Step 2 I must continue to work out my salvation …
